Simply as early as possible – the cost impact of early introduction to key meetings is minimal versus to potential gain. We can support space designers with targeted filing volumes and flexible working aspirations, as well as incorporating a full understanding of the concerns of the stakeholders and the culture of your business.
What areas of the UK can you support?
Anywhere we are required. We have Move Consultants across the UK and Ireland to support your project no matter how large or small.
What services can you actually provide?
The list is endless and is geared around your specific needs to realise the project objectives in a timely, efficient and financially controlled manner. We can lead the project from the get-go, reporting into your team at agreed intervals, or take a hand-holding approach depending on the size, skill sets and availability of your team.
How do I know how much the spend will be for the entire project?
Ask us! At the initial discussions we can determine the level and complexity of support required. This will enable us to plot move consultant time against each task to leave you reassured that your budgets will be maintained.
Will the team you provide be dedicated to our project?
Yes, continuity of the team is absolutely essential.
Do you offer the physical Move Service too?
We can if this is your wish. But we are also happy to work with your approved move contractor and manage their services on your behalf. Working with our own teams can create efficiency savings through the management and supervision functions, but the choice is yours.
Business Relocation
What are the full range of services you provide?
Our service is designed to move your entire business in a seamless manner. To achieve this we can offer move management, desktop IT support, document packing and unpacking, library moves, specialist furniture fitters, disposal and recycling and what ever else might be required – test us!
What area of the UK do you provide?
COF Solutions have service centres throughout the UK, including London, North West, Scotland, Midlands and the South-West. We can also support your moves in Northern Ireland and Eire through our dedicated service teams.
What about IT equipment?
We are able to relocate your IT equipment including servers with minimum fuss utilising our specialised teams, crates and equipment. In addition our engineers can support the decommissioning, re-commissioning, patching, IT cleaning and testing of your desktop equipment as an integral part of the move process.
Can you handle our unwanted furniture at the end of the project?
Yes. We have a dedicated team who can review your excess furniture and explore re-sale through our own showrooms, charity donation or environmental recycling
Storage Services
Is there a minimum storage period?
No, you can store for as long as needed in our secure facilities. We charge on weekly billing cycles to provide best value
What can you store?
It’s more about what we can’t store! As you would expect we do not store flammable, toxic, potentially explosive goods. A full list of items prohibited can be provided – just check with us first.
Where are your storage facilities?
We can offer storage facilities throughout the UK, principally in London, Midlands and the North-West. In addition we have service level agreements with our service partners throughout the UK to hold goods closer to your centres if required.
How much will storage cost?
We charge on the amount of cubic capacity and the ‘stack-ability’ of the items you wish to store. We can calculate this from an inventory of goods.
Furniture Recycling
What type of items can you take away?
Just about anything. Any office furniture, IT equipment, safes, fixed shelving and wall boards. We can literally strip the office ‘back to the walls’ ready to hand back the building to the landlords or agents.
Is there a financial rebate for the furniture?
Yes sometimes. It depends on the age, condition, style and even colour of the furniture. We need to incorporate the overall cost of our team dismantling, removing, refurbishing and re-delivering the furniture to a new home. We will provide you with a total project price incorporating any recycling costs too for ‘end of life’ items.
Do you provide the transportation and labour to remove the items?
Yes absolutely. Our team will dismantle and collect the goods at a time to suit you. This can be outside of business hours if needed during evenings or weekends.
What happens to the furniture?
Reuse is always the preference over recycling, prolonging the life of furniture saves energy, waste and re-manufacturing costs. We therefore look to redeploy furniture through our showroom network where this is practically and financially viable. Where this is not possible certain types of items can be donated through our charitable network. Where furniture has reached its’ end of life status the items are separated into their component material parts and recycled at approved recycling centres.
Is there an audit trail of goods once recycled or donated?
Yes, we will provide an audit report which details what has been selected for redeployment though our showrooms, which items have been donated to charities and which were suitable only for environmental recycling. We will also provide a signed vicarious liability disclaimer for goods re-entering the reuse chain.
